My foray into Malaysian Idol. This are some pictures I took from the first round.

When I first get there, I'm greeted by this Huge Queue. O-M-G. I spent 2 hours lining up here, before I got in.

And once I got in, Joy.... Another queue again. This is the reception counter where they make sure all your forms are in order... Then they send to the tables further in where you collect your number.

Well, I got my number, then I proceeded to wait again.

The camera crews were roving everywhere, looking for interesting things to shoot. They took a break in front of me, And I decided they were interesting to shoot! haha.

The back portion of the waiting area. They provided free drinks and Newspapers to stave off some boredom, but it didn't work.. hahaha. The wait was just tooooooo looooong.

The middle portion of the waiting area. Didn't get any pics of the front area as I didn't wanna walk around.

Some of the crew members. All very friendly. It's their job I guess. One of them in the picture was one of the judges for the popstar thingy on NTV7. Can you guess who? haha.

Funny T-shirt making fun of the Greatest 'idol' of all. Hahahha. I wonder if they are for sale.. lol. Most of the crew members were wearing it.

Oooohh... the time spent waiting. Thought it would be a good opportunity to show off my watch... haha. Dad bought it for me.

Finally, after spending 2 hours queuing and another 5 hours waiting to be called, I get to wait again. The is three groups of 10, waiting to be called upstairs for their audition. It's 10pm.

After waiting for each other to finish singing (no pics.. haha. Too stressed) we are taken back downstairs for... *drumroll* MORE WAITING!!! waiting for our results.

At the end, Of the 10 people in my group, I'm the only one who made it through... quite a miracle... Was really shocked then the guy (in the picture) called out my number. "Unfortunately only one of you will make it through this round. The number is... 1-2-6-2-2" HAHAHAHAHHA... gila. I actually forgot my lyrics for the song (You Raise Me Up)! Sang the verse halfway, then stopped and said "Oh shit... I forgot my lyrics.. Can I just sing the chorus instead?" After getting the Nod of approval, I did the chorus (really threw my voice kau kau). Well, Guess that convinced them. What a pleasant surprise indeed. Second round... *shivers in fear*
