Finally, we're off on our first roadtrip (the earlier one was a trial run)

As usual, roadtrips must be unplanned. The guys (Joel, Jason, and Joshua) were at my house to "plan" the trip. We decided to leave at 6 am the next day to beat the jam. However, they got caught up playing Battlefield 2. Next thing we know, it's already midnight. What the hell, we decided to leave right away. They went back to pack their things, and as soon as I was done packing and showering, I hit the road to pick them up. This is a shot of the time I reached the first Petrol station before picking them up. "Full tank plix!"

Reaching Joel's house after picking up Josh and Jason, we decide to stat our trip with a little... err.. not prayer. Supper. HAHA

Digging in at "Traffic light corner"

About 2 1/2 hours later, we arrive at Bidor!

We spend the rest of the night in Joshua's relative's house (Ah Kit's house if you remember him from the last roadtrip)

"Thank you Ah Kit"

We spend the better part of the early morning watching LOTR2 lol. That's me taking a short nap thinking we'd be hitting the road shortly...

But Josh and Joel had other ideas.

We finally get them up and going at 1020 hours.

Breakfast at Bidor. Herbal duck noodles!

Damn... the soup rocks.

After breakfast we head for Lumut, and our resort.

This is a Paddy field. In case you don't know.

Aha! We arrive at our resort!

Checking in the apartment. Jason is aghast at the utter lack of chicks.

Woot, quite a nice place.

Two rooms and two toilets.

Nice living room and kitchen.

Jason was quite disappointed at the lack of chicks.

...

The resort is so great, it's even got "THE VIEW". I mean... like... what other view can beat "THE VIEW" right? It's "THE VIEW"!

Walking down to the beach.

I guess Josh had a rough night with Jason... HAHAHA. j/k

Joel's doing a very weird pose here. I spent a good 20 minutes figuring out what was the scene behind the picture. In the end, I decided he was just being retarded.

Enjoying the strong wind.

Spotted some monkeys at the carpark.

It was cool feeding them.

Our first meal in Lumut town... KFC!

Damn, we need a guide around here. lol.

We stock up on supplies at the nearest minimart.

My car's signal lamp suddenly came off on the way back to the resort. Nothing a little masking tape can't fix though.

Monkey smoking weed.

We had dinner at this cool ikan bakar place.

Check out their drinks. I can't help but think the drinks are very presentable. They taste good too! (Limau Ais, Teh O Ais Limau and Ais Kosong).

The Hotel simming pool.

Spent the night playing cards. Woke up the next day to find stains on Jason's bed.... dude... WTH?

We had a hard time getting Josh to wake up as usual. And No, that pillow is not from the Hotel. Go figure.

We head off to Ipoh for lunch. Yum.. DIM SUM!

Ahaha...

Oh yeaahhh....

After eating, we stacked the dishes up nicely. Get's you a 50% discount (says Josh). Jason's happy cuz he finally saw some chicks.

We spend the rest of the day in Jaya Jusco. Joel's getting a little suggestive at the bookstore. Watched two movies there, Flight plan and Into the Blue. Ho... damn... Jessica...

Had dinner at this... steakhouse? Joel has much to complain about it, though I really enjoyed my steak.

Later at night, we attack our stash.

On the next and last day (after getting Joshua to wake up) We head up to Penang.

Ooooo... Seriously though, We didn't drive at this speed. Just hit it once for picture's sake.

Police road block. We were all pretty anxious to get past them, because Josh was driving, and He had forgotten to bring his I/C and License.

Somehow Heath care and Biohazard don't really seem to gel for me.

Hmmmmmm....

At the Penang Bridge!

I'm utterly amazed at the density of these apartments. It must be depressing t live there.

We stop at a random hawker center for lunch. Damn... that's some close parking by Josh.

Some realy Gosu chicken rice. The soup was really really good. No kidding.

RM3 for a carwash? That's rather cheap ain't it?

Saw this on a house door in Pulau Tikus (that's not an island by the way.) Wonder what it stands for.

A really old car in Pulau Tikus. New number plate though.

The most awesome Mee Goreng I've ever eaten. And I don't even fancy it. This is really Good stuff.

When we tell the shopkeeper that it's good, he says "of course! we're famous!" Then we notice the newspaper clippings on the wall.

We then try some random Penang fried kuey teow. The cockles were surprisingly very tasty.

Then we ordered Laksa, and had a very nasty surprise. A freekin worm! The dumb thing was camera shy and fell into the boiling hot soup.

It promptly wound up dead.

Penang has surprisingly nice beaches. I always thought it was dirty. lol.

Mount "pleasure"... Mmm... I can only imagine what goes on up there.

We paid a visit to the toy museum. Didn't want to pay for the entry ticket though.

Driving past the longest flag in Malaysia.

We visited Gurney Plaza in Penang. Got ourselves some Coffee Bean. Caught this guy sleeping on the job. lol.

Woot! Trishaws! No... wait.. what is that? There's no bicycle attached to it. lol.

Heading out of Penang.

In Penang you have dogs sleeping in traffic islands in the middle of the city.

We stop by at Bidor for another round of Duck noodles and Chicken Biscuits. Then head home. Back in Duta toll plaza.

The end.
