Onwards to Singapore

Rest stop on the highway to Singapore sells this

And this, as well as some other weird food like... nasi goreng bongo bongo.

Stayed up late as usual, so we sleep on the way there.

Singapore! Highway to pies.

Nice bridge.

All the "L" vehicles there are pretty cool. No shit like kancils without air con.

The lifts to our flat was pretty cool. it had see through doors. Kinda freaky, ripe for a horror flick.

Great news of the day! There's a 24 hour food court just 5 minutes walk from our flat.

Josh tries the wantan mee. It comes with Tomato sauce. LAWL!

Taxis there are pretty high tech.

How come we don't see this in Malaysia? Oh yeah, you can pay for your cab fare with cards too.

Cool movie booking facility. Movies are really aggressively marketed here.

Lots and lots of pedestrians.

Nice ceiling in a mall.

Check this kid out. He's holding a torch studying those toy vending machines. Prospecting for gold I suppose.

Run florist run!

Curvy escalators.

Bicycle with bling. Yup.. lights.

C class for a cab?

Something we don't have here. Would be cool, since I've been hanging around in McD a lot lately. McCafe

After a long walk along orchard road we take a rest.

More McCafe

This is neat. This guy sells ice cream slabs between wafers. and by slabs, I mean slabs. That piece on the cutting board is the actual serving size. And it only costs S$1. And it ain't cheap skate ice cream either.

More eating at a very nice foodcourt. Didn't get the name though.

Tried the famous Singapore fried hokkien mee/fried prawn mee. Quite interesting.

This MUST be a gay bar.

Waiting for a cab late at night can be pretty tiring.

Yup. But we were rewarded with the delicious sight of 4 east European hotties who waited behind us. Didn't get a picture though.

First night was absolutely ghastly. We had no fans! It was so hot, I was sweating even though I was sleeping shirtless on the floor. So at about 3 am, me and josh walked to the food court to have a cool drink. Even the roads are a better place to sleep than the flat.

They should sell these here.

And these

And these.

And these too. Quite a variety of Kit Kat huh?

Cool stuff. They sell fried, yes FRIED, not DRIED fish in the supermarket.

Yum yum.

WIN!

Other interesting things.

LOL! Afraid people will break the glass and steal the drinks.

Engrish.com pls kthnxbye.

Some utter weird guitars.

Yup. that doraemon is a guitar too.

After craving for McD for a few days, or friend in Singapore Jefferey Foo takes us to the Mother of all McDonalds in Singapore. The headquarters!

Tried the beef rice burger. Everything seems extra nice here.

Even the tic tac colours.

Mmm...

...

....

LOL!

Curiosity killed the pussy... cat. We just had to see what's that. LOL!

Instruction manual says to use it this way,

or this way. The instruction manual is too graphic for us to show. LAWL!

Sadly, the ring isn't as well designed as it should be.

It couldn't handle an eagle this size.

SO WE BOUGHT MORE. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Don't worry, we're not going to use it. We figured it would be hilarious birthday gifts. LOL. If your  birthday's coming, better beware.

Josh dissects it to study the mechanism. Pretty cool. There's a really miniature servomotor inside. I can think of a ton of things I'd like to build with that motor, but I know I'll never have the time.

On the way back we drop by Melaka for Chikin rice balls. I'm not more a chicken rice ball virgin!

Looks messy, but tastes good.
