About my family

    My father Tan Suan Chew (better known as David Swan) was born on the 30th of September 1955. He is the Senior and founding pastor of Tabernacle of David (formerly known as Siloam assembly of God). He is the fifth among his eight brothers. My father also has 4 sisters. My father has penned a few books regarding Christian worship and living which have been translated to numerous languages. He continues to serve the Lord faithfully after 24 years of pastoring. He enjoys fishing and playing chess.

    My mother Irene Chong Yoke Lan was born on the 18th of January 1958. She is currently associate pastor of Tabernacle of David having left her career as a quantity surveyor to serve full time in the church. She has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is an avid fan of Chinese television serials and shopping.

    My elder sister Michelle Tan Sook Ching was born on the 2nd of October 1981. She has composed numerous songs and has even cut an album entitled "Better Days". She is currently working for an advertising company. She enjoys playing the piano and composing songs during her free time (besides the regular shopping and stuff).

   My younger sister Elizabeth Tan Su Mei was born on the 18th of November 1993. She is home-schooling following an American program. She enjoys watching cartoons and playing with her friends.
